Product information "SATA Connector THROUGH"
This is an extremely compact SATA THROUGH push-in connector, which has a depth of only 16mm including the cap. The THROUGH version is made for wires going through the connector, so you can install them in a row of multiple connectors. The cap of the THROUGH connector is open on both sides, for the pass through of the wire. For the last connector on the wire you can use the SATA END push-in connector or of course the SATA crimp connector.
The wires (18 AWG, 0.75 mm², 17 AWG 1.00 mm²) are simply pressed down completely into the "blades" of the connector with a flat screwdriver or similar wide object, while you hold the connector stable on a surface. The "blades" of the connector cut through the wire-insulation and make contact to the wire core. You can see the procedure on the third photo in the product gallery.
